Murray County Community Christmas Food Drive
All Murray County Schools participate in the Community Christmas Food Drive each year.
Donations of non-perishable food items are accepted as well as monetary donations. With money raised from the food drive, food boxes are purchased from the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. To help a neighbor in need, $9.50 is all it takes to purchase a 30 pound box of food for Community Christmas.
McDonald's of Chatsworth graciously offers a prize to the winning homeroom at each school that raises the most money and brings in the most food donations.
